SHAHINE EL-HAMUS

Shahine El-Hamus is an award winning dutch actor of stage and screen. His breakthrough came with playing the lead role in THE PROMISE OF PISA (2019); a powerful performance that earned him a Golden Calf Award and confirmed his status as one of the standout talents of his generation. Following this success, Shahine took on the lead role in the popular series BESTSELLER BOY (2022), and also starred in the Netflix film CRYPTO BOY (2023), directed by his brother Shady El-Hamus and featuring their father, in which he brought the complex dynamics of the digital world to the forefront.

Some of his other credits include A’DAM & E.V.A. (2016), the Videoland series LIEVE MAMA (2020), and the arthouse film MET MES (2022) by Sam de Jong. In the fall of 2024, Shahine took to the stage in the play BRANDEN by Toneelschuur Haarlem. Since January 2025, he has appeared in Mark Williams’ SAFE HARBOR (2025) as well as STREET COACHES VS ALIENS (2025), directed by Michael Middelkoop.
